WOW - What a scenic log cabin - we could have stayed here all week, but we enjoyed the lighthouse tours - so many wonderful villages with a different offerings. The hot tub was most enjoyable as well as the outdoor fire pit. We did roast marshmallows - felt like we were at camp again.
This was our first trip to Nova Scotia and we enjoyed every minute of it. This log house turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. The view, the firepit, the kayaks, the waterfront were all perfect! Thanks for a great family memory.
We have enjoyed a very relaxing week in Moose Harbour Cottage. It was a great base for us to explore Nova Scotia and we have got lots of good memiories and photos to take home with us. Castaway Ocean Lodge, overlooking East Green Harbour bay offers beautiful ocean views, a cozy wood interior and a hot tub for relaxing.
Silding patio doors lead from the living room and both bedrooms onto this raised deck. A sheltered, sun-trap with a glorious view of the bay, this deck is the perfect place to BBQ, read and relax. Below the deck is the Hot Tub.
Castaway Ocean Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker and kettle. All the dishes and flatware are provided.
Sliding patio doors flank either side of the floor to ceiling field stone fire place.
Castawy Ocean Lodge has two queen size bedrooms. Both rooms have sliding patio doors that lead out on to the deck.

DescriptionThis newly built vacation rental combines the efficiency of modern design with the charm and character of a traditional log home. Constructed from large honey brown logs, and featuring an open-concept kitchen, living / dining room and three bedrooms, the atmosphere is both spacious and warm. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and have patio doors that open up onto the deck, while the third bedroom downstairs. All the bedrooms have queen size beds; log bedside tables and plenty of closet space. The cottage comes equipped with a four-piece bath.At the heart of this Nova Scotia vacation house is a floor to ceiling fieldstone, wood-burning fireplace. Two sets of sliding patio doors lead out from the living room onto a large wooden deck that spans the length and breadth of the cottage and takes full advantage of the ocean view.
