We have stayed at this Sea Star Cottage on several occasions. It is a lovely and tranquil spot to get recharged and enjoy a vacation. It is very private and yet close to a beautiful beach! You will think you are in a paradise when you see the beach! The cottage is cozy and wonderfully decorated. We would highly recommend it to all ages!
Bishop House was wonderful. It was perfect for our family and quite a beautiful house and location. Shelburne is an adorable little town with lots of history. Nova Scotia is gorgeous! We loved every minute of our stay here in this tremendous province. We will definitely return.

All the rooms are spacious, bright and full of character; tastefully furnished with antiques and decorated with the homeowner’s original paintings. There is a quality of casual elegance that is fitting for this comfortable and informal seaside holiday home. The main floor features a classically Georgian entranceway that is lovely and reflects the age of the house, a living room, media/TV room, and a large kitchen with a quaint backstairs. A sunroom takes in the view of the ocean, while a laundry room and 3-piece bathroom with a bath are close by for convenience. Upstairs are 4 large bedrooms and a second 3-piece bathroom with a shower. Three of the bedrooms have queen size beds, while the 4th has a twin bed. A large deck off the sunroom overlooking the garden and ocean beyond provides a comfortable outside living space. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
