Watching humming birds feeding, woodpeckers on the sateliite dish and Ospreys has been briliant. We've explored hidden coves and inlets from Peggy's Cove right dwon the South Shore to Yarmouth. We also visited Digby; the scallops were great! Driving through Kejimkujik we saw deer. The weather has been so good to us too; sunshing every day apart from Monday and even then it was really warm. Sai Beach house is one of the most luxurious and beautiful places we've stayed at and we've stay at a few! Great design only bettered by the view.
Kayaking with the seals was a definite trip highlight. You can see the seal colony from Bay Bluff Cottage. They're on the low rock to the left of the pointy white rock. Sand hill and Blanche beaches were spectacular! Thank you for letting us use your magnificent cottage!
Slateville Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable house. We have especially enjoyed the seals on the rocks. Thanks so much for having good binoculars for us to use. On the first morning we went for a walk and were excited to come across a couple of deer and their young ones.

Payment ScheduleReservation DepositA reservation deposit of $500 CDN and the Damage Deposit Waive fee of $45 CDN is required to secure your booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received. Final PaymentThe balance of the rental fee is due 90 days prior to your arrival. Upon final payment we will email you a confirmation letter with a detailed information package that includes driving directions and information on where to find the key. Arrival is at your convenience after 4:00 p.m.Last Minute ReservationsFull payment plus the $45 Damage Deposit Waiver fee is required at the time of booking for resevations made within 90 days of arrival.TaxesThere are no additional taxes on top of the posted rental rate. This represents a 15% savings over hotel or resort bookings.Method of PaymentPayment can be made by MasterCard, Visa, e-mail transfer or personal cheque (in Canadian funds). Unfortunately, we cannot accept money orders or cheques in any other currency. Please note there is a $25.00 charge for NSF cheques.Damage Deposit Waiver FeeWe require a $45 non-refundable Damage Deposit Waiver fee for all reservations in lieu of charging an additional $500 security deposit fee to the property rental rate. This privilege is offered to you as our way of saying thank you for your business. The waiver covers all minor accidental damage or breakage up to $500.Coverage does not cover loss, theft, extraordinary cleaning charges, damage resulting from negligence or willful or wanton conduct or damage by a pet (in those properties that allow pets) or loosing the key. Guests must notify the Sandy Lane Enterprises Ltd. at once of any damage during occupancy and submit a written report or the Damage Deposit Waiver is void. For reservations of which the rental amount is over $2500 weekly, an additional refundable security deposit may be required. Cancellation PolicyShould you wish to cancel your Nova Scotia vacation rental reservation; your cancellation notice must be made in writing - either by fax, email or mail.
