What a lovely place to spend our week here in Nova Scotia.! The view of the harbour is spectacular. We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite slights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax. Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing. Great week!
We experienced two weeks holidays in a wonderful nice place. The nature, sun, sea, fog, wind wildlife and many other things have fullfilled our days with peace and satisfaction. As a boatbuilder and naval architect, I have been very satisfied with the architecture of this house.

DescriptionOcean Vista Cottage is a typical family friendly cottage... a single story with an open concept kitchen, living and dining room. At the heart of this rustic cabin is a large stone fireplace (with a propane insert) around which sits a comfortable couch and a dining room table. With three picture windows, the cottage is bright and sunny. There are four bedrooms - with a king, a queen and 2 twins beds. All the bedrooms have ample closet space; lobster crates serve as bedside tables and complete the rustic look. The cottage comes equipped two bathrooms. A ensuite 4-piece washroom for the Master Bedroom and a 3-piece washroom.A deck wraps around two sides and extends the living area to the outside. In late August and early September, a dozen “high-bush” blueberry bushes are in bloom – you could be eating blueberries for breakfast every day! Its a short 3 minute walk to the white sands of Hunt's Point Beach. LocationOcean Vista Cottage is located in the charming fishing village of Hunt’s Point, on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Approximately halfway between Halifax and Yarmouth, Ocean Vista Cottage is nicely located along the Lighthouse Route.Liverpool, with its “Privateering” history, museums, shops and restaurants is only 10 minutes away. The World UNESCO site of Lunenburg and the famous lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove are not far. Nova Scotia’s capital, Halifax is about an hour and a half up the coast. Closer to home are three beaches – Summerville Beach Provincial Park, White Point Beach and the stunning Carter's beach. Amenities
