If you are looking for peace and quiet, this traditional Nova Scotia Cottage is for you. Situated on 20 acres of property with 350 feet of shoreline, with no neighbours for miles, Rockland Cottage offers the simple pleasure of seclusion.

Built in the 1850s by an English merchant sea captain by the name of Pierce, this traditional Nova Scotia Farmhouse enjoys a commanding view of Lockeport Harbour.

The house combines the charm of a traditional homestead along with the conveniences of modern day living. The heart of the house is the large fully equipped, eat-in kitchen that is complemented by an antique hutch and table. A wood stove adds to the ambiance of the comfortably furnished living room. A separate parlor allows for a quiet reading room or games room. Decorated in a traditional style, Rockland Cottage is a charming example of Nova Scotia accommodation.

Only 30 minutes to Shelburne, 10 minutes to Lockeport and 40 minutes to Liverpool, Rockland Cottage is nicely situated to explore the South Shore. Yarmouth is a 1 ¼ hours away; while Lunenburg, Digby and Halifax are all pleasant day trips.
