What a fabulous week we've had!!!  Wonderful water - such a lovely spacious cozy home. Castaway Ocean Lodge has a view to die for.  We loved Shelburne and Lockeport too; very quaint with lovely old house and so quiet and unspoiled.

Castaway Ocean Lodge was a honeymoon haven for us on our first trip to Nova Scotia; a wonderful way to start married life. Some highlights included basking in the hot tup, kayaking round the bay, morning coffee on the decking with the resident heron, a visit from a raccoon who tapped the window when watching tv! Great food in the Beandock Cafe and Quarter Deck Grill and beaches and walks and much, much more. Castaways was a special place for us. We loved it.

Hurricane Bill - worth the price of admission, swirling wins and waves and the cottage stood like a glass fortress.

Had a wonderful time at Southwest Breaker's Cottage. Felt very relaxed and had all the comforts of home. Beautiful view once the fog lifts. Had several sunny days, a few wet ones.
