We had such a lovely time in Nova Scotia. Peace and Plenty was everything we hoped it would be. Our children enjoyed the challenge of our own rocky beach. We even found a few intact sea urchins before the seagull smashed them. Other highlights of our visit were the "Trot in Time ride" through Lunenberg, Carter's Beach and Halifax. Thank you Helen and John so much for your part in our great vacation.
We had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed hearing and seeing the seals from the deck at Southwest Breaker's Cottage. We visited Shelburne and Lockeport a couple of times and visited Kejimkujik (the seaside adjunct as well as the park). We even took a trip up to Upper Clements Park. All in all, a great vacation. Picture windows in the living room and sliding patio doors in the dining room take full advantage of the view. A large porch extends the living space outside and focuses on the ocean, garden and view.Upstairs are three bedrooms. The master bedroom and spans the width of the house and has a queen size bed and a spectacular view of the blue waters of Shelburne Harbour. A second bedroom has a double bed while the third bedroom has two twin beds. Comfortably furnished and decorated, Shipwright’s Cottage is the perfect family retreat. There are two bathrooms … a downstairs 4-piece bathroom with a bath and a shower and an upstairs 3-piece bathroom with shower.
