What a charming, well-appointed little home is the Captain McLean's Carriage House.  I have been so comfortable and content is this historic and lovely setting.  It will be very difficult to drive away.  Shelburne, especially history-laden is a delight for "land-lubbers" seeking fresh seafood, good (super) accommodations and sightseeing - beaches, museums, period costumes, pleasant faces and helpful info everywhere!  Farewell Nova Scotia, and we'll not forget what we've learned about the folks who make this province great, nor those who went before to build its harbour towns.

We've totally enjoyed our stay at Slateville Cottage. It is so lovely and the surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. We want to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to use your home this past week.  We did the lighthouse tour from Yarmouth to Lockeport.  We did the whale watching tour and saw 2 humpback whales and one Minke.

Thank you for an amazing stay. The Willow Cove Cottage is a charming and very well euipped! We had some fabulous day trips and wonderful dinners at Charlotte's Lane and The Quarterdeck!!

Arrived 1 day late in the wake of Hurricane Earl but Peace and Plenty was certanily worth the wait. What a lovely, well equipped cottage and gorgeous view! Thank you Helen and John for your concern about our safe arrival.
