Guest Testimonials

We had a wonderful week in Shelburne at Ocean's Tranquility. This house is truy a very special place and is named appropriately-very tranquil indeed! We enjoyed the quiet and sense of isolation. The screened porch was the favorite part of the house for us. Although the water was cold, we enjoyed our dip at the Crescent Beach. We will always remember our first trip to Nova Scotia and how very much we enjoyed this house.

Nestled in a beautiful location and only a short walk from Carter's beach (which looks almost tropical). Sea Star Cottage is perfect for honeymooners or a large family. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and refreshing vacation!

We had such a lovely time in Nova Scotia. Peace and Plenty was everything we hoped it would be. Our children enjoyed the challenge of our own rocky beach. We even found a few intact sea urchins before the seagull smashed them. Other highlights of our visit were the "Trot in Time ride" through Lunenberg, Carter's Beach and Halifax. Thank you Helen and John so much for your part in our great vacation.

We spent two bissful weeks in your lovely Moose Harbour View Cottage.  What a pleasure to gaze out the window and see such a view.  We had fun exploring the South Shore.  Thanks for sharing!

Snow Removal

Typically Nova Scotia does not receive a lot of snow.  The winter of 2003-2004 was an exceptional year.  We had over 4 feet of snow in March alone.  Let’s hope that does not happen again!

Our Snow Removal service includes plowing private roads, clearing driveways and pathways, as well as removing any large snowdrifts on roofs or decks.  A prearranged contract to remove snow will ensure that fuel trucks will not have any difficulty delivering during the winter.

Small amounts of snow, such as a sprinkling on the pathway will be removed as a matter of course as part of the Home Watch program.
