Incredible waterfront gem!!!

Can't remember a vacation when we were less ready or willing to pack up and go home! This is a fabulous cottage and a truly beautiful setting. We have been so comfortable and happy here. Although we have lived a total of more than 60 years in Nova Scotia, we had never truly appreciated the beauty and variety of this part of the south shore before. Thank you so much.

An absolute dream spot!
We travelled to the Sanderling Beach House from Ontario in August. What an amazing week! The house was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with a beautiful beach theme running throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the layout provides a beautiful view of the beach from just about every spot in the house. The white sand beach is gorgeous, clean and so quiet. It almost felt like we were on a private beach. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone considering it. The fact that we had three teenagers who never once missed being "connected" due to lack of WiFi or television speaks volumes!! Thank you John and Helen.

  Home sweet Home
This is a wonderful house on a wonderful North Atlantic beach. Sanderling Beach House is just perfect, thousand times better than the pictures can show. Spotlessly clean, well built, well equipped, very spacious, full of taste. Right on the beach yet very private, as the beach is hardly shared with anybody else, if not for the 8 sandpipers which are among the very few left in Canada, the seagulls, and the sight of the seals. We were so lucky to have perfectly dark night with millions of stars, shooting stars, clear water, and beach fires. And yes there are bugs, and they sting you, but this is a little price to pay for the wilderness of untouched beauty.
