What a delightful and elegant home! We are very sad to be leaving. It was nice to be a Liverpuddlian for a week. Thank you for thinking of all the right things to make this a home away from home.

We have had a wonderful holiday.  The view across the water to Lockeport was enhance by the every changing weather and tides.  We loved the way we moved in and it felt like home. We enjoyed the wonderful meals we made in this fantastic kitchen. It truely lived up to the photos from the website.

We have had a very enjoyable and relaxing time in Nova Scotia. We explored numerous beaches; ate at Charlotte Lane; got out on the water; poked around Shelburne; watched a meteor shower and spied deer  as they crept across the lawn.  Our cottage was well equipped for entertaining and cooking and especially relaxing!  In fact, many hours were spent simply reading on the porch. We even managed to forget which day it was for a while!

The house was well taken care of, renovated, and modernized. As advertised, Orchard Point is very private and secluded. Standing on the shore of the ocean, you get to fall asleep to the sound of waves. It is also conveniently located only 15min from downtown Shelburne, where you can explore the local museums, breweries, and great dining places! If you’re a bit more adventurous, 45min in either direction you will find some of the best beaches in the province (Hawk Point & Carter’s Beach) and other hidden gems! Cell reception was hit and miss on the entire peninsula, but WiFi at the house was very good, we were able to stream Netflix without any lag! The host is very responsive and helpful! Overall, a great experience!
