Guest Testimonials The location is unbelievable - a lovely sandy beach within short walking distance. View from Bright View Cottage across the bay and gorgeous sunsets as promised. Best thing to be able to lie in bed and see the ocean! Cottage comfortable and well provisioned with everything you might need. Instructions clear and detailed and the cottage binder contained lots of helpful local information. Location is very private and access to beach would be difficult to impossible for anyone with mobility issues.
What a perfect location for a holiday, especially for the two week quarantine. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and in the area.
The perfect place to self isolate
5 of us stayed at Ragged Island Retreat while we were in quarantine and it was perfect. Lots of space to roam the property, we hardly ever saw anyone except the odd person clamming, or driving a truck down the road. The accommodations were simple but very comfortable, loved all the windows and the sunrises were AMAZING! Would definitely recommend if you are looking to get away from the business. We enjoyed our stay very much at the Castaway Ocean Lodge with a beautiful vista. The perfect place for an adirondack family to unwind for a week. This was our first visit to Nova Scotia. We viewed an eagle soaring! A perfect place for Kayaks and hot tub.Thank you Helen and John.
