Orchard Point was more than I had hoped for. My 6 year old daughter and I shared a week together at this amazingly charming beach house. There are gorgeous beaches within a short driving distance. If you're in for a bit of a rock climb, you could go swimming right outside the house as well. The views from the front door were simply breath-taking. Honestly... just pack lightly, and go! Everything you need is right at the house. I would definitely recommend Orchard Point. We hope to be back soon to build more memories!
Our first day here we open the curtains to be greeted by the view of a Great Blue Heron standing among the rocks of your little beach area! For our 20th anniversary what we were looking for was a place that offered quiet an seclusion away from very busy lives! Castaway Ocean Lodge was just the ticket! Quiet relaxing days of no particular schedule made this an anniversary to remember!
Fairytale Vacation
Staying at Castaway Ocean Lodge was a fairy tale experience. The spacious luxurious log cabin has all the charm of a Hans Christian Anderson storybook tale with its wide view of the sea. A short stroll downhill brings you to another dreamy vista of islands rising from the mist. We never wanted to leave and mostly just made short trips to buy seafood for the grill and fire pit. The oceanfront kitchen is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. The hot tub and bath towels were a treat. By far the most magical, romantic and private place we’ve ever rented anywhere. Had a wonderful time at the cottage. Felt very relaxed and had all the comforts of home. Beautiful view once the fog lifts. Had several sunny days, a few wet ones.
