Great location from which to explore the South Shore. We had a great stay at Harbour Tide House.

Castaway Ocean Lodge is a lovely place to spend our week here in Nova Scotia.!  The view of the harbour is spectacular.  We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite slights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax.  Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing.  Great week!

We experienced two weeks holidays in a wonderful nice place.  The nature, sun, sea, fog, wind wildlife and many other things have fullfilled our days with peace and satisfaction. As a boatbuilder and naval architect, I have been very satisfied with the architecture of this house. 

The house is beautiful and comfortable. We have especially enjoyed the seals on the rocks. Thanks so much for having good binoculars for us to use. On the first morning we went for a walk and were excited to come across a couple of deer and their young ones.
