Amazing week - all of the comforts of home in a beautiful setting
From the moment we arrived and saw the we knew our one week stay here would be memorable. Our two children lov Castaway Ocean Lodgeed the hot tub, the board games, exploring the beach and looking at birds and fishing boats in the bay with the binoculars. We loved the clean and comfortable space, the fully stocked kitchen (it even has sharp knives - something I've never seen in a rental before!), the views, the comfortable beds, the deck chairs and so much more. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful property with us. It was peaceful and relaxing, changing and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Terrific Getaway
We stayed at the Castaway Ocean Lodge for a week and had a wonderful time. The view from this venue was exceptional and its location was perfect for day trips to nearby towns. The cabin had everything we needed to make this vacation very relaxing. |

The cottage is conveniently located, walking distance to restaurants, museums, shopping, library, arts centre and Shelburne's beautiful harbour.Completely renovated in 2013, Elm Tree cottage is light, bright and airy. Clean lines, muted paint colours, and a touch of retro chic all add to the ambiance and charm of this delightful property. Elm Tree Cottage is perfectly suited for the business traveler, or vacationing couple. With all the conveniences of home, the cottage features a large queen size bedroom and a modern bathroom. There is an open concept living room, dining room and a fully equipped, ergonomically designed contemporary kitchen, complete with fridge stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and cookware. Other amenities include laundry facilities, flat screen smart TV, and high speed wireless internet. The front of the cottage is sheltered from the road by two magnificent old elm trees.
