Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We were awestruck with the picture postcard perfect scenery in and around Port Joli. What a bonus to have a fully stocked kitchen and library and a deck to take in the sounds of the ocean. We also witnessed the majestic bald eagle soar over head; truly unforgetable. We'll be sure to tell our family and friends back home what a great place the Francis Louis House is.
What a wonderful location and landscape to quiet the soul. The water, tides, pines, sunsets, wild life (including deck squirrel) are perfect. Scallops at Digby are everything they said they would be. Lobster at Rudders in Yarmouth was remembered days after the first bite. Charlotte's Lane in Shelburne was 2 thumbs way up! We are sorry we could not stay longer. Thanks!
Great cottage, sunny, quiet, tranquility. Quietest cottage we have ever stayed at. Went down Blanche Rd. to the end (about 10 min. from the cottage) and walked the beach and rocks at low tide. Saw a colony of seals barking on rocks. Don't miss Cape Forchu outside of Yarmouth, Outstanding. Compliments on keeping the natural setting
Francis Louis House is an architectural gem of a house, great location, great setting. The weather was warm and sunny. Went to Carter's Beach and Louis Head Beach-beautiful. Hope to come back and visit Nova Scotia again-a great vacation.
