We stayed at the Castaway Ocean Lodge for a week and had a wonderful time. The view from this venue was exceptional and its location was perfect for day trips to nearby towns. The cabin had everything we needed to make this vacation very relaxing. We've had a wonderful time here. It is a beautiful cottage and well-equipped. You really own a lovely property! The cottage was perfectly clean when we arrived. Thank you cleaning lady! This is our first time in Nova Scotia. We loved to spend relaxing days with out children at Carter's Beach, The weather was wonderful-sunshine and warmth. A place we can recommend is the pub at the Lane's Privateer Inn in Liverpool. Extremely friendly staff, great burgers, good beer. Thanks for a perfect holiday at your cottage.
The cottage, the area and Nova Scotia are all fantastic! One week was not enough. The deer visited everyday and appeared to be watching us more than we were watching them. Thank you for sharing this cozy and comfortable home.

Breakfasts are served inside, but you can take your coffee outside to enjoy on the deck. Depending on the tide, the lighthouse may be completely surrounded by water or accessible along the sand spit. Send the kids out to play on the beach and enjoy a moment of peace.The closest cottages to this breakfast are: Ocean's Tranquility Guest House in Sandy Point and Captain McLean's Carriage House, Above Studio 14, Rose Gate Cottage in the town of Shelburne. OtherJohn, the breakfast aficionado loves the Sandy Point breakfast. I would happily sleep in on a Saturday morning, but on a Sandy Point Breakfast morning, I am "encouraged" to get up and get going!
