"Wow, what a wonderful time we had! This beautiful cottage was exactly what we needed. The views are incredible and the amenities are so convenient. We stayed here at Bright View Cottage for a couple of weeks in September. The weather was lovely and the surrounding environment was peaceful. We spent a lot of our time lounging on the main deck, observing the ocean and the wildlife. At nighttime the second level deck is an incredible place to view the stars. We played sports on the surrounding lawn and took walks (and swam!) at the nearby beaches. Great place for bike riding and jogging as there is little to no traffic. We were able to cook every meal at the cottage with a very well equipped kitchen. We especially loved having access to the extensive library both up and downstairs-lots of classics! Overall a fantastic place to reset and take it slow."

Our last day at the cottage how the time has flown! We know of the village of West Green Harbor, smells of the sea, cries of the sea gulls, the lobster pots drying in the sun, the bold colours of the lupins swaying along the road, the gentle breeze fades into the distance as we fly home - we leave with fond memories of the soft rhythm of life in Nova Scotia. The house and location is tranquil, restful and easy on the soul. We end this journey with a smile and leave a little of ourselves behind.

Seasonal Property Maintenance

Our Seasonal Property Maintenance program takes the worry out of owning a vacation property. We will ensure that your home is properly closed at the end of one season and opened at the beginning of the next.

At the end of the season the water will be turned off and the plumbing drained, windows and doors secured, and if necessary, dust cloths put in place. Thermostats will be set to appropriate levels and appliances disconnected.

At the beginning of the season, we will open your home and prepare it for your arrival. We will prime water pumps and turn on the water, reconnect the appliances, adjust the thermostats and air the house. We can also arrange for a spring-cleaning - won’t it be lovely to come home to a fresh clean house!
