We have stayed at this Sea Star Cottage on several occasions. It is a lovely and tranquil spot to get recharged and enjoy a vacation. It is very private and yet close to a beautiful beach! You will think you are in a paradise when you see the beach! The cottage is cozy and wonderfully decorated. We would highly recommend it to all ages!

DescriptionThe Sandy Point Lighthouse Beach is a tidal beach that grows in size as the tide ebbs. At low tide a glistening stretch of golden sand links the Sandy Point Lighthouse to the shoreline. The shallow waters, rock pools and proximity to the Sandy Point Community Centre (for snacks and washrooms) makes this a very popular beach with local families. Sam, our 7-year-old son, loves it there – it is always his first choice. For him there are sand castles to build, seashells, starfish and other treasures to be found. And the fact that it is an 8-minute drive from the center of Shelburne makes it very convenient.Ocean’s Tranquility Guest House in Sandy Point is within a 5 minute drive to the Sandy Point Lighthouse Beach.
