We travelled to the Sanderling Beach House from Ontario in August. What an amazing week! The house was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with a beautiful beach theme running throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the layout provides a beautiful view of the beach from just about every spot in the house. The white sand beach is gorgeous, clean and so quiet. It almost felt like we were on a private beach. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone considering it. The fact that we had three teenagers who never once missed being "connected" due to lack of WiFi or television speaks volumes!! Thank you John and Helen. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us. We enjoyed Liverpool and meeting many old friends and new ones! Having your home as our base has been ideal with everything and more than expected for a home to home experience. Your decor is quite lovely and will recommend to friends. Thanks again.
What a priviledge to stay at this cottage! We spent some very peaceful days in these wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay very much. We celebrated here our 5th wedding anniversary and a birthday.

Completely renovated in 2007, the house is cheerful, bright and airy. A large picture window in the living room takes advantage of the harbour view, while the sliding patio door that leads from the kitchen to the wooden deck and bathes the interior with light. Furnished with an eclectic mix of new pieces and antiques, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. It's a short walk down to the harbour to meet some of the local fishermen. A short stroll further along the shore road will lead to a rocky outcrop and a view of Coffin Island. White Point, Summerville and Carter's Beaches are all approximately 15 to 20 minutes away. The Thomas Raddall Provincial Park, the Kejimkujik National Park and the spectacular are also close by. Its 45 minutes to the UNESCO heritage site of Lunenburg and 50 minutes to the famous white churches of Mahone Bay. The airport is 2 hours and Halifax an easy 1½-hour drive.Amenities
