What a great house! We are here on our honeymoon and although it's not a typical spot for honeymooners, it's been perfect for us. It's so peaceful and quiet and very relaxing. The house is beautiful. Completely renovated in 2007, the house is cheerful, bright and airy. A large picture window in the living room takes advantage of the harbour view, while the sliding patio door that leads from the kitchen to the wooden deck and bathes the interior with light. Furnished with an eclectic mix of new pieces and antiques, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. It's a short walk down to the harbour to meet some of the local fishermen. A short stroll further along the shore road will lead to a rocky outcrop and a view of Coffin Island. White Point, Summerville and Carter's Beaches are all approximately 15 to 20 minutes away. The Thomas Raddall Provincial Park, the Kejimkujik National Park and the spectacular are also close by. Its 45 minutes to the UNESCO heritage site of Lunenburg and 50 minutes to the famous white churches of Mahone Bay. The airport is 2 hours and Halifax an easy 1½-hour drive.Amenities
