Home sweet Home

This is a wonderful house on a wonderful North Atlantic beach. Sanderling Beach House is just perfect, thousand times better than the pictures can show. Spotlessly clean, well built, well equipped, very spacious, full of taste. Right on the beach yet very private, as the beach is hardly shared with anybody else, if not for the 8 sandpipers which are among the very few left in Canada, the seagulls, and the sight of the seals. We were so lucky to have perfectly dark night with millions of stars, shooting stars, clear water, and beach fires. And yes there are bugs, and they sting you, but this is a little price to pay for the wilderness of untouched beauty.

We have enjoyed a very relaxing week in Moose Harbour Cottage. It was a great base for us to explore Nova Scotia and we have got lots of good memiories and photos to take home with us. You have managed to make our first trip to Canada amazing and we are already planning when we might be able to come back.

All the homes represented by Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals are privately owned. The owners have furnished and decorated them to suit their own needs. They are happy to share their home - if it is treated with care and respect.

To help make your vacation more enjoyable, we provide each vacation home with an information package. This package includes information about local attractions, points of interest such as the closest beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and other helpful tourist information.

Check in / Check out

The rental period, unless otherwise stated is either from a Saturday-to-Saturday or a Sunday-to-Sunday. Check in is after 4 p.m. Check out is no later than 10 a.m on the day of departure.

All information about the cottage is to the best of our knowledge.

Sometimes homeonwers make changes to the amenities without informing Sandy Lane. If there is something advertised that is particularly important to you for the enjoyment of your vacation, please email us to confirm.
