We had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed hearing and seeing the seals from the deck of the cottage. We visited Shelburne and Lockeport a couple of times and visited Kejimkujik (the seaside adjunct as well as the park). We even took a trip up to Upper Clements Park. All in all, a great vacation. A beautiful gem on the South Shore
I stayed at the Red Head Retreat with my husband and 2 friends. This was our first trip to the South Shore since moving to NS 2 years ago. The property is absolutely stunning with a huge yard ending at the ocean's edge. It is very private and quiet. The cottage is beautiful and has a spacious open concept on the lower floor. Bedrooms are nice and the cottage is equipped with everything you need. The large deck in the back is a great feature as is the fire pit. The cottage is close to some awesome beaches and Shelburne is an easy drive. We were very impressed with this cottage and had such a great time! We highly recommend it! We really enjoyed our stay at Bright View Cottage. The house meets all the criteria, the common area is perfect. It is very well located. The view is beautiful. Thanks!
