Guest Testimonials The cottage is a lovely place ,so peaceful , so close to beaches , such a beautiful view. It has everything inside that you will need from batteries, candles, saran wrap, beach towels, first aid kit, movies, kids toys (story books), bug spray and soooo much more. It was so great to have two bathrooms and washer/dryer. One of the other great things is the outdoor shower came in so handy with the Grandchildren (they loved it). A all around great place !!!
Sapphire Cottage was absolutely fabulous. So comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful details and decor. We loved the games - had lots of fun!! The cottage has a nicely equipped kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. We loved the historic area of Shelburne and Crescent beach in Lockeport all nearby. We had a fabulous vacation!!
We had a wonderful week in Shelburne. This house is truy a very special place and is named appropriately: very tranquil indeed! We enjoyed the quiet and sense of isolation. The screened porch was the favorite part of the house for us. Although the water was cold, we enjoyed our dip at the Crescent Beach. We will always remember our first trip to Nova Scotia and how very much we enjoyed this house.
You were right, Sanderling Beach House is a little piece of paradise; the house; the beach; the waves; the little towns; the other beaches. Everything was perfect. I enjoyed your home on the beach!

Summerville Beach
Blue skies, white sands and rolling waves all make for a perfect day at the beach.

Turn onto Hwy 3 following signs for Summerville Center, Hunts Point and White Point. There is a parking lot on the right just before you get to the Quarterdeck Restaurant. OtherThis past August (2011), we spent a fantastic family day at Summerville Center Beach and Provincial Park. The weather was perfect. Blue skies with little white puffs of clouds floating overhead. Bright sun shimmering off the waves.Sam and Max were in their element - soaking wet and covered in sand. True to his creative character, Sam decided to try his winter sled out as a boogie board. Amazingly, it worked really well. The waves were perfect for a beginner boogie boarder. Large enough to be exciting, without being too big to be worrying for me!
