Can't say enough about how wonderful this property is! Family Friendly, well equipped, comfy beds, and one of the best beaches around. Our boys (aged 6 & 9) made good use of all the beach toys provided, flew kites, played soccer, and barely touched their iPods once. Sanderling Beach House is a real gem and our week in Nova Scotia was amazing! We can't wait to go back and would highly recomend it to anyone. Bright View Cottage is a great scenic spot for a relaxing family weekend away. Pictures do not do this location justice!
We are delighted by the cottage! You thought of everything for our comfort and enjoyment. Thank you. The marsh view is gorgeous. The light on the water and the grasses were every changing. We have enjoyed watching a marsh hawk hunt for his supper. Cape Sable Island and the cottage has been a delightful place.
We fully enjoyed our week at Castaway Ocean Lodge. As experienced cottage renters this cottage was fully equipped including those small kitchen items like mustard and ketchup, spices etc. While we did not use the hot tub or kayaks, they were there and available. The view was magnificent from the deck and it was fun to explore the rocky shoreline. Problems with the internet were resolved. The location is wonderful for exploring both Lockport and Shelburne areas. While there was only two of us and our dog there was more than enough room for more people. Great week away in a wonderful setting.
