The area around Shelburne and Barrington is a Nova Scotia treasure. Red Head Retreat is a perfect place to stay and enjoy it. Comfortably furnished, bright and sparkling clean plus you can sit on the deck in a rocking chair and take in the expansive view of the ocean complete with a lighthouse. The kitchen is well stocked and has two under the counter refrigerators. This was our third rental with Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals and it certainly won't be our last. WOW - this was the first word from our mouths as we drove down the driveway and saw this beautiful place! We have had a wonderfully peaceful and serene week here at Castaway Ocean Lodge and the hot tub has been a god send and has enabled us to be outside enjoying the veiw even through the wind and the rain. A fabulous haven that will live long in our memories!
Great place and location for privacy.
The cottage is bright and cheery.
Fishing, biking, hiking and even golf not too far away.
Best of all, dog friendly so our 4 legged buddies had fun too. Sea Star Cottage is a lovely cottage close to beautiful beaches. Convenient for visiting many of Nova Scotia’s historical and interesting places.
