Sanderling Beach House is perfect, just as it is described. It's furnished and equipped to a very high standard and has everything you could need, a real home from home (except this home sits on the very edge of the perfect beach!). I can't recommend this beach house highly enough, we had a great time. We have fallen in love with Nova Scotia. It was a wonderul week. We were able to enjoy many of the amaxing beaches and sights around this area. We even saw porpoises right outside our cottage!
We had such a lovely week here. We can hardly bear to leave; beautiful home; beautiful views; beautiful beach.
We stayed at a great contemporary cottage! We had a wonderful time just enjoying sitting by the fire and listening to the tides. The dogs favorite beaches were Sandhills and Baccarro. Carter Beach and Charlotte Lane are highly recommended although the beautiful, peaceful and quiet settings are the best. Thank you for the respite.

Summerville BeachDescriptionSheltered picnic areas with washrooms and changing rooms, a sandy shoreline and sand dunes in the background make this beach an ideal daytime destination. LocationNearest Cottages:It is a short walk to Summerville Beach from Summerset Cottage. Driving Directions: To get to Summerville Center Beach and Provincial Park, take Exit 20 off HWY 103. Turn onto Hwy 3 following signs for Summerville Center, Hunts Point and White Point. There is a parking lot on the right just before you get to the Quarterdeck Restaurant. OtherThis past August (2011), we spent a fantastic family day at Summerville Center Beach and Provincial Park. The weather was perfect. Blue skies with little white puffs of clouds floating overhead. Bright sun shimmering off the waves.Sam and Max were in their element - soaking wet and covered in sand. True to his creative character, Sam decided to try his winter sled out as a boogie board. Amazingly, it worked really well. The waves were perfect for a beginner boogie boarder. Large enough to be exciting, without being too big to be worrying for me! For me, there is nothing more relaxing than a day on the beach. The fresh air and sunshine do wonders to rejuvenate my spirit. AddressSummerville Center, NSGoogle Map |
