Even on cloudy days, the house always felt bright and airy, especially the fantastic sun room. We appreciated the tide clock as going to the beach became the center of our days here. Such a lovely place.
The property is such a lovely place! We really loved the place and shall come back. It couldn't be better.
We reserved Francis Louis House almost a year ago as a place to hold our wedding. We rented it blindly from the internet with only a few pictures. Once we arrived, we quickly realized that the pictures certainly did not do this place justice. WE LOVE THIS HOUSE!

Summerville Beach
Blue skies, white sands and rolling waves all make for a perfect day at the beach.
Sand in my toes on Summerville Beach.
With umbrellas and picnics, families head to the beach for a day of fun in the sun.
We were not the only ones enjoying the beach.
DescriptionSheltered picnic areas with washrooms and changing rooms, a sandy shoreline and sand dunes in the background make this beach an ideal daytime destination. If you don't want to pack a picnic, head over to The Quarterdeck restaurant over looking the beach and check out their varied menu. This beach is a nesting area for Piping Plovers so visitors are requested to keep to the designated paths during the nesting season. LocationNearest Cottages:It is a short walk to Summerville Beach from Summerset Cottage. Driving Directions: To get to Summerville Center Beach and Provincial Park, take Exit 20 off HWY 103. Turn onto Hwy 3 following signs for Summerville Center, Hunts Point and White Point. There is a parking lot on the right just before you get to the Quarterdeck Restaurant. OtherThis past August (2011), we spent a fantastic family day at Summerville Center Beach and Provincial Park. The weather was perfect. Blue skies with little white puffs of clouds floating overhead. Bright sun shimmering off the waves.Sam and Max were in their element - soaking wet and covered in sand. True to his creative character, Sam decided to try his winter sled out as a boogie board. Amazingly, it worked really well. The waves were perfect for a beginner boogie boarder. Large enough to be exciting, without being too big to be worrying for me! For me, there is nothing more relaxing than a day on the beach. The fresh air and sunshine do wonders to rejuvenate my spirit. AddressSummerville Center, NSGoogle Map |

Great value for your money! The location of the cottage is great and close to everything. We were able to go out for day trips and come back in no time. The kids loved, loved the beach and didn't want to leave on our last day. They asked if we could go back next year but for two weeks
