We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite sights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax. Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing. We had a great week at Castaway Ocean Lodge!
We experienced two weeks holidays in a wonderful nice place. The nature, sun, sea, fog, wind wildlife and many other things have fullfilled our days with peace and satisfaction. As a boatbuilder and naval architect, I have been very satisfied with the architecture of this house.

Clean lines, muted paint colours, and a touch of retro chic all add to the ambiance and charm of this delightful property. Elm Tree Cottage is perfectly suited for the business traveler, or vacationing couple. With all the conveniences of home, the cottage features a large queen size bedroom and a modern bathroom. There is an open concept living room, dining room and a fully equipped, ergonomically designed contemporary kitchen, complete with fridge stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and cookware. Other amenities include laundry facilities, flat screen smart TV, and high speed wireless internet. The front of the cottage is sheltered from the road by two magnificent old elm trees.
