This cottage is exactly as advertised, maybe even better. It truly is only a 3 minute walk to beautiful Summerville beach. Make sure to walk to the end of the beach and see the old bridge when the tide is all the way out. It is beautiful. The 3 bedrooms are very large and the kitchen island is great for all cooking and eating together. We had a great vacation here at Summerset Cottage, made lots of new memories and hope to make it an annual tradition.
We have had such a wonderful time here. The Cottage is so beautiful and the area is so amazing. We have enjoyed the beach, water and of course the lobster! Thank you so much.

We loved loved loved our week here at Ragged Island Retreat! The location is so remote and peaceful, it's almost unbelievable. We spent the week kayaking, writing and breathing in the wonderful ocean air which wafts in over the salt pond. We are already planning our return next summer and can't wait! |

Standing on the shore of the ocean, you get to fall asleep to the sound of waves. It is also conveniently located only 15 min from downtown Shelburne, where you can explore the local museums, breweries, and great dining places! If you're a bit more adventurous, 45 min in either direction you will find some of the best beaches in the province (Hawk Point & Carter's Beach) and other hidden gems! Cell reception was hit and miss on the entire peninsula, but WiFi at the house was very good, we were able to stream Netflix without any lag! The host is very responsive and helpful!
